Washingwell Whizz Kids (Before and After School Provision)

Washingwell Whizz Kids Before and After School Club

Welcome to Washingwell Whizz Kids!

We provide before and after school club childcare provision for all children on roll at Washingwell Primary School (including Nursery children) and we are delighted to offer the service as part of our extended provision to support our families.

We pride ourselves on the flexibility and quality of service that we provide and whilst you may not require a place for your child on a regular basis, we ask that all members of our school community agree to the terms and conditions outlined below in case you require ad hoc places throughout your child's time at Washingwell.

Thank you.

Mrs Hall; Head Teacher

Our Out of School Club Team consists of Mrs Johnson and Miss Guest who cover breakfast sessions and Miss Head and Miss Hughes who cover after school sessions. All will be happy to help you with bookings or queries relating to breakfast and after school club.

Policies

Washingwell Whizz Kids is ran and managed directly by the school itself.  As such, all school policies in relation to behaviour, safeguarding, first aid, food hygiene etc are adhered to at all times.

Bookings & Payments:

Parents will pay via card when booking their sessions via Parentpay. Bookings can be made and cancelled up until 5pm the night before the session. If you book a session and need to cancel, you can do this yourself, via Parentpay, up until 5pm the night before without being charged, however after 5pm, cancellations for the next day will not be refunded.

All booked sessions will be charged in accordance with the fees listed above. Late collections (after 5.45pm) will incur a £50 charge to contribute towards increased staffing costs - this will be applied to your account by the office staff. Please note, it is essential that bookings are made via the booking system. This allows us to ensure adequate staffing and catering for the number of children that we have in each session.

Sessions are available to book ordinarily a term in advance to allow parents and carers maximum time to book for individual needs.

Children who are not booked in via Parentpay will not be admitted.

Childcare Voucher Payments (TFCC/ GovCC etc):

If you wish to pay for Washingwell Whizz Kids via voucher payment this needs to be done in advance of booking sessions.
You will need to make a payment via your voucher scheme, let the school office know that you have made the payment and how much is to be allocated to each session e.g. £20am ,£50pm.

The office will then allocate a credit to your account which will allow you to book sessions without paying via a card. As you book you will see the credit amount go down and therefore know when to top up again, following the same process.

We ask that, where possible, you top up in a bulk amount to reduce administration time and to ensure that you have funds available as and when needed, particularly around holiday times when staff are not working.
