In Literacy Children in Saturn have been learning a new word. The word is Domineering! They said the word, recited the definition, created vocabulary banks and played games to explore the new word. There was definitely some domineering behaviour amongst groups!
Year 5 kicked off their new topic yesterday afternoon by making discoveries about the different systems in our bodies. They worked in groups to create body maps showing what they believe is inside 'Our Bodies'.
Another great afternoon at the Year 5 and 6 Christmas party. The children danced non stop and were particularly favourable to Miss Carr's playlist!
What a fantastic end to our very busy week. Our KS2 children performed brilliantly for us today in their production of 'The Stars come out for Christmas'. They certainly were stars and did us really proud. Well done everyone!
