Year one have started to create their own map of the school today. We are excited to map our map 3D.
Year one have had fun learning about place value. We completed problem solving activities in the woods yesterday, worked out money problems and played a place value game today.
Year one have enjoyed learning to tell the time using the games "what's the time Mr Wolf?" On purple mash.
We were able to feed the lorikeets nectar.
Year one saw lots of different animals yesterday. We learned about what they eat and where they live.
Year one have had a fantastic day at Kirkley Hall. First we got to handle a large rabbit and guinea pigs.
Year one have been learning different types of balances.
Year one have been learning to play note A and B this week.
Year one went to Waterstones on Thursday to celebrate World Book Day.
Year one have started to look at plants and how they change over time. We went outside to explore plants in our environment.
Year one had a lovely morning sharing their stories with their adults. They enjoyed making their own ship from our story Grandad’s Island. Thank you all for coming.
Year one have been exploring the world. We listed countries that we already knew, discussed continents and found the Equator and the North and South Pole.
