Reception had lots of fun dressing up, we made fairy cupcakes, they were delicious!
Children in Reception Class are welcome to come to school dressed as a fairy or a pirate on Thursday this week to celebrate the end of their topic.
Today Reception found a tiny note, it was from Tinkbell! She had left us instructions on how to get to Neverland. There was a special jar containing real Pixie Dust too! Mr Barnes sprinkled the Pixie dust, we thought of happy things and we were suddenly flying over...
We have had lots of fun reading the story of the Gingerbread Man, we guessed what was going to happen, created our own ending and even had a go at making our own gingerbread men.
During our forest school session, Reception were excited to discover that we were going to have a real fire! We talked about the importance of keeping safe around fire! We got to have toasted marshmallows squashed between rich tea biscuits...mmmm!
Don't forget you can see some of our artwork displayed in Chase park on Saturday between 11-3pm!
Mums, dads, power rangers and super heroes were just some of the characters we pretended to be in the woods.
Yesterday we went into the woods to try out our brand new tire swings, they were so much fun! Mr Barnes and Mrs Gibson helped us to build a new den, we used pallets to build the walls!
Reception have had lots of fun exploring their new classroom. We have travelled the seas in our pirate ship, explored how bee-bots work, shared our "my world books" and much more! [gallery...
