Segedunum 

On Wednesday we went on our class trip to Segedunum! We had a brilliant time  exploring the fort remains, learning about how the landscape of Wallsend has changed over time and taking part in the 'Fort Life' workshop. 

Why do we have poppies?

Year 5 had great fun yesterday afternoon making poppies for Remembrance Day, to use in our performance poetry. The children talked about why we have poppies and what each part of the poppy represents.
