Year 4 had a fantastic time at Segedunum learning all about life as a soldier in the Roman army.  Students found out about life as a Roman soldier during our exciting workshop, where they got to hold/wear some equipment, learnt how to march and follow commands as well as fight for the Roman Empire.

After the workshop and a well-deserved lunch, we marched all around the site, exploring the ruins of the Roman fort and looking at the interactive displays. It was a wonderful day for Year 4, and we’re looking forward to continuing to learn even more about the Romans over the coming weeks.
